Terms & Conditions

Modern Panditji is operated by Utkarsh Agarwal, an independent proprietor in India. In these terms “we” and “us” mean the operator, and “you” means whoever is reading the site.

Modern Panditji is registered for GST in Maharashtra under GSTIN 27ASPPA5054R1Z4. Every payment made from 22 September 2026 gets a GST tax invoice, and you can open and save each one as a PDF from your account under Invoices.

A question, a complaint, a refund or a legal notice all reach a person at contact@modernpanditji.com, or through the contact page.

Three kinds of thing are sold here, and all of them are digital.

• Time with Panditji in the chat. Panditji is an AI astrologer, and there are several panditjis to choose from, each with their own rate, currently from ₹32 to ₹101 a minute. You pay from a wallet you recharge with ₹251, ₹501, ₹1,100, ₹5,100, ₹11,000 or ₹51,000, and the balance never expires.
• A face or palm reading. Written from one photograph you send, for ₹51 each.
• A premium report. Written from your birth chart and delivered as a private link and a PDF. Each report’s price is on the premium reports page.

Who charges what, and every recharge with the extra credit on it, is on the pricing page. We sell nothing else. No gemstones, no yantras, no puja bookings and no remedies.

Who may use this site

The site is meant for people aged 18 and over. Talking to Panditji needs an account, and so does any purchase, because every question and every rupee has to belong to somebody. Everything else here, the kundli, the matching and the panchang, needs nothing at all. Keep your sign-in to yourself, because anything done from your account is treated as done by you. The chart you get is only ever as good as the birth date, time and place you type, so enter them as accurately as you can.

Paying

Prices are in Indian rupees and include GST. Payments go through Razorpay, which takes your card, UPI or netbanking details on its own secure page, so we never see or store them. Every payment is a one-time payment. There is no subscription, nothing renews, and nothing is charged again unless you pay again yourself.

How the wallet works

A recharge adds what you pay to your wallet, one rupee for one rupee. Some of the larger recharges add extra credit on top, and the amount is shown on the recharge before you pay. Extra credit is spent like the rest of your balance. It has no cash value, and it is taken back if the recharge it came with is refunded as money.

How time with Panditji is charged

Each panditji has a rate per minute, shown before you start. A sitting begins when Panditji starts answering your first question, and the first minute is charged then. After that, each minute that starts is charged in full, at the rate fixed when the sitting opened. The clock stops when you end the sitting, when you move to another panditji, when your balance cannot cover the next minute, or when the room goes quiet. A quiet room is charged only up to the last minute you were there. If your balance runs out in the middle of an answer, the rest of that answer is kept for you and shown once you recharge.

Free questions and older message packs

A new account may get a free question to begin with, as shown on the site at the time. Free questions are used before your wallet. If you bought a message pack before the wallet began, those messages are still yours, and they are also used before your wallet balance.

Your balance does not expire

Money in your wallet stays yours until you spend it. There is no validity window, no date to keep an eye on, and nothing lapses if you put the site down for a year and come back to it. The balance goes down only when you spend time with a panditji or when a recharge is refunded.

When prices change

We may change the rates per minute, the recharge amounts, the extra credit on them and the price of a reading or report. A sitting already open keeps the rate it opened at. A change never reduces the money already in your wallet, and that money is spent at the rate shown when you start each sitting. For a reading or a report, what you paid for is recorded on your order when you pay, and that record is what you receive.

Readings and reports

A face reading, a palm reading and a premium report are each bought once and delivered once. Each is written after you pay and stays on your account to open again. A report also comes as a PDF you can keep. If a reading breaks partway, trying again costs nothing.

Refunds and cancellation

Nothing here auto-renews, so there is nothing to cancel. When something goes wrong on our side we put it right with wallet credit, and in two cases with money. The whole of it is set out in our refund and cancellation policy.

The ₹5,000 wrong-fact credit

From 30 September 2026, if Panditji states a fact about your chart that is wrong, we add ₹5,000 to your wallet. The offer works on these terms.

• What counts as a fact. Something anyone can check in the chart we drew for you: a planet’s sign, house or nakshatra, your ascendant, a dosha, or your dasha periods and their dates. Predictions, events still to come, readings of character or nature, remedies and opinions are not facts, so they are not covered.
• How it is checked. Against the chart this site computed from the birth details you entered, in the sidereal zodiac with the Lahiri ayanamsa. A difference that comes from wrong or approximate birth details, from another ayanamsa, or from another system such as KP or Western astrology is not an error.
• Once per person. The credit is given once to each unique person, however many accounts, phone numbers, email addresses or payment methods they use.
• How to claim. Write to us from the contact page within 30 days of the chat, with the chat and the fact you believe is wrong. We reply within two working days, and if the fact is wrong the credit reaches your wallet then.
• What the credit is. Wallet credit for use on this site only. It has no cash value and cannot be withdrawn, transferred, exchanged or refunded as money.
• How claims are decided. We check every claim in good faith against your chart and tell you the reason for our decision. A claim made in bad faith, through several accounts, or by steering the chat into an error is refused.
• Changes. We may change or end this offer at any time at our discretion. A change applies from the day it is published on this page, and a chat that took place before the change is decided under the terms that applied on the day of that chat.

Nothing in this offer limits your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

Delivery

Nothing is posted to you. A recharge reaches your wallet as soon as the payment is confirmed, usually within seconds, and a reading usually arrives within a minute. What happens when something does not arrive is in the shipping and delivery policy.

What you agree not to do

Please do not resell or redistribute what you buy, share one account among several people, or try to get around the per-minute clock or the free questions. Please do not scrape the site or hit it with automated bulk requests, because it is a small operation and that is felt immediately. And please do not use the chat to harass anybody, to impersonate anybody, or to enter another person’s personal details without their say-so.

What we may do

We may change, add to or retire parts of the site, and we may take it down for maintenance. We may suspend or end an account that is abusing the terms above. If we end your access for a reason that is not your doing, we pay back the wallet balance you paid for, to the account it came from. We will not take away something you paid for and keep the money.

Readings are not advice

Everything on this site, including your kundli, the matching score, the dashas, the panchang and anything Panditji says, is offered for reflection and cultural interest. It is not medical, legal, financial or psychological advice, and no outcome is promised. The full version, and it matters, is on the disclaimer.

Your data

What we collect, what we refuse to collect and how to have it deleted is set out in the privacy policy, which is written for India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

Liability

The site is provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for anything arising out of this site or these terms is limited to what you actually paid us in the twelve months before the claim. We accept no liability for indirect or consequential loss, or for any decision taken in reliance on a reading.

Changes to these terms

We may update this page. When we do, the date at the top changes, and the version on this page at the time of your purchase is the one that governs it. If a change is significant we will say so on the site rather than quietly editing the text.

This site is made and operated in India, and these terms are governed by Indian law.
