The agreement
Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 5 August 2026
Short version: the kundli, the panchang, the muhurats and the rashifal are free and stay free. The only thing you can buy is a pack of messages to Panditji — one payment, no subscription, nothing that renews behind your back. Everything below is that promise written out properly.
The other party
Who you are buying from
Modern Panditji is operated by [TO BE CONFIRMED — registered legal entity name], registered at [TO BE CONFIRMED — registered address], GSTIN [TO BE CONFIRMED — GSTIN]. In these terms “we” and “us” mean that entity, and “you” means whoever is reading the site.
Everything — a question, a complaint, a refund, a legal notice — reaches a person at contact@modernpanditji.com, or through the contact page.
What is for sale
What you are buying
One kind of thing, in three sizes: a pack of messages to Panditji, the AI astrologer in the chat. A pack is a number of messages and a date they stay good until.
- Ek Sawaal — ₹99 for 20 messages, good for 7 days from purchase.
- Vistaar — ₹499 for 120 messages, good for 30 days from purchase.
- Poorna Path — ₹999 for 300 messages, good for 90 days from purchase.
The current list, with what each pack is for, is on the pricing page. Nothing else on this site is sold: no gemstones, no yantras, no puja bookings, no remedies.
The rest of it
The terms themselves
- Who may use this site
- The site is meant for people aged 18 and over. To buy a message pack you need an account, because the messages have to belong to somebody; the two questions you can ask before signing in need nothing. Keep your sign-in to yourself — anything done from your account is treated as done by you. The chart you get is only ever as good as the birth date, time and place you type, so enter them as accurately as you can.
- Paying
- Prices are in Indian rupees and include GST. Payment is handled by Razorpay, which takes your card, UPI or netbanking details on its own secure page — we never see or store them. A pack is a one-time purchase: there is no subscription, nothing renews, and nothing is charged again unless you buy another pack. At present the account accepts domestic Indian payments only, so a card issued outside India will be declined at checkout.
- What counts as a message
- One message is one question you ask. Panditji’s reply is not counted, and your own transcript is the record — you can check what you have spent against it at any time. Free questions are always spent before purchased ones, so buying a pack never voids free questions you have not used. Where you hold more than one pack, the one expiring soonest is spent first, so a second pack cannot waste the first.
- When a pack expires
- Each pack is good for the number of days shown above, counted from the moment the payment is confirmed. Once that window closes, any messages still unspent lapse. The date is shown on the pack before you buy and in your account afterwards; we do not move it, extend it automatically, or convert unspent messages into anything else.
- A price change never reaches a pack you already bought
- We may change what a pack costs, how many messages it holds or how long it lasts. Those changes apply to future purchases only. What a pack was sold with is recorded on your order at the moment you buy, and that record — not the current price list — is what you receive.
- Refunds and cancellation
- Nothing here auto-renews, so there is nothing to cancel. If a pack needs to be refunded, write to us and we will sort it out — the whole of it is set out in our refund and cancellation policy.
- Delivery
- Nothing is posted to you. Messages are credited to your account as soon as the payment is confirmed, which is usually a matter of seconds — see the shipping and delivery policy for what happens when it is not.
- What you agree not to do
- Please do not resell or redistribute what you buy, share an account so that one pack serves many people, or try to work around the message count. Please do not scrape the site or hit it with automated bulk requests — it is a small operation and that is felt immediately. And please do not use the chat to harass anybody, to impersonate anybody, or to enter another person’s personal details without their say-so.
- What we may do
- We may change, add to or retire parts of the site, and we may take it down for maintenance. We may suspend or end an account that is abusing the terms above. If we end your access for a reason that is not your doing and you still hold unspent messages, we refund them — withdrawing something you have paid for and keeping the money is not a thing we will do.
- Readings are not advice
- Everything on this site — your kundli, the matching score, the dashas, the panchang and anything Panditji says — is offered for reflection and cultural interest. It is not medical, legal, financial or psychological advice, and no outcome is promised. The full version, and it matters, is on the disclaimer.
- Your data
- What we collect, what we refuse to collect and how to have it deleted is set out in the privacy policy, which is written for India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
- Liability
- The site is provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for anything arising out of this site or these terms is limited to what you actually paid us in the twelve months before the claim — and we accept no liability for indirect or consequential loss, or for any decision taken in reliance on a reading.
- Changes to these terms
- We may update this page. When we do, the date at the top changes, and the version on this page at the time of your purchase is the one that governs it. If a change is significant we will say so on the site rather than quietly editing the text.
Where this applies
Governing law
This site is made and operated in India, and these terms are governed by Indian law. The courts at [TO BE CONFIRMED — city] have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
Before it ever gets that far, please write to contact@modernpanditji.com. A grievance sent there reaches a person, not a queue, and almost everything is settled that way.
